A platform for design + curation

Started in 2021 by Cindy Ngo as a design studio and platform for creatives based in Oakland, CA, with a focus on curated products and interiors. Our design philosophy centers around timelessness and harmony that's often found from polar opposites, such as ink and porcelain: black / white, fluid / delicate, dynamic / static.

Our first product creation was a collaboration with female artisans in Morocco to create handmade raffia coasters. We wanted to design and produce an everyday item to help us learn about the entire process – from conceptualizing a product with artisans and manufacturing it, to sourcing and shipping, what are the things that need to be done and how can they be optimized? The raffia coasters hold a special place in our heart as they were what started the adventure.

Since then, we've brought to market multiple products in the home decor space, made by women. Shop the I+P collection.

We couldn't do what we do in our commerce front without the strong community we've built and continue on building along the way. We feature some of the amazing female creatives and entrepreneurs we encounter in our 6 Things column. We also organize in-person events connecting female creatives, the most recent one, A Seat at the Table, was held in Los Angeles as a partnership with Fig & Oak – watch the reel.

The edit focuses on affordable home decor items that follow the studio's design aesthetic and philosophy. We've also collaborated with other creatives and brands to bring the popular Home Edit and the newly announced Beauty Edit.

We offer design and content production services to our community in our Oakland studio which have been featured on Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, and Oprah Daily.
