6 Things with Katrina Rickman Interior Stylist

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Katrina is an Interior Stylist at HomeStyled. When she's not immersing herself in interior design, you can find her traveling over thousands of miles on her motorcycle.

1. What started it all for you?

My mom and dad flipped houses while I was growing up in the Bay Area and my mom has been an Interior Designer for as long as I can remember.

2. What drives your creative spark?

Driving around neighborhoods and exploring other peoples homes always drives my creative spark. One of my favorite things to do is drive around different neighborhoods and see the individuality of peoples homes.

3. Most treasured home decor item?

One of my most prized home treasures is my Vintage Noguchi coffee table. I found it at an antique store in Nashville for $400 and the woman that runs the shop had no idea that it was a high end designer coffee table!

4. What’s the best advice you've ever received?

The best advice I've ever received was definitely not to second guess myself. It's easy to get down on yourself but having confidence in what you're doing is key to being successful.
