A SPANISH REVIVAL BY EVGENIA MERSON DESIGN
Evgenia Merson Design thoughtfully reimagined this historic Spanish Revival home in the Oakland Hills, creating a warm and inviting space that honors its architectural character while embracing modern family living. By opening the previously divided entertaining spaces into a light-filled Great Room, the design creates a natural setting for both everyday moments and gathering.
Every detail feels intentional, from the restored plaster fireplace and wood ceiling beams to the carefully layered Artful Objects collection that bring texture, warmth, and character to the interiors.
Captured beautifully by photographer Jessica Burke, the finished spaces reveal the effortless harmony between the architecture, design, and objects—each piece complementing the home while adding its own sculptural presence.
