ALVEA IN BLOOM: WHEN BANANA FLOWERS BECOME SCULPTURAL

Introducing Alvea, a new sculptural vessel by Quebec-based artist Karen Quirion that explores the relationship between nature and architecture. Defined by sweeping curves and an open silhouette, the piece features dramatic banana flowers whose elongated petals bring a botanical element to ceramic form. The contrast between the flowers’ organic shapes and the vessel’s architectural structure creates a compelling composition, balancing movement, scale, and sculptural detail.

Alvea is available in three distinct tones: INK, Cream, and Canyon, each offering a different expression of the sculptural form.
